18.06.2018 the foreign student from Iraq Alnur Ali Salman Shabib defended the master's thesis. The work was protected in English by specialty 1-31 80 01 Biology and the student was awarded the degree - Master of Biological Sciences. The topic of the study is Blood and brain oxidative stress parameters in neurodegenerative diseases. During his studies at the magistracy Ali took part in two major international conferences on oxidative stress with reports. The results of the work are reflected in three scientific articles. Scientific adviser professor Nina Kanunnikova and head of the department of biochemistry professor Ilya Zavodnik noted the high level of preparation of the thesis. The State Examination Commission rated the work with the highest mark of 10 points.

As Ali said, two years passed rapidly, and he really liked the training at our faculty. Then he wants to continue his studies and does a PhD work.
